Shipping Information

Orders require a processing time of 2–4 business days.
Shipping rates for orders placed on switch-components.com and delivered within Italy are as follows:

Italy Shipping Rates

  • €10.00 for orders under €19.99
  • €5.00 for orders from €20.00 to €49.99
  • Free shipping for all orders over €50.00

Shipments are handled by GLS. You will receive the tracking link as soon as your package leaves our warehouse.

European Union Shipping

  • €15.00 for orders under €49.99
  • Free shipping for orders over €50.00

Delivery times and couriers may vary depending on the destination country.

You may return products within 30 days from delivery, except for custom-made items. Returned items must be intact, unused, and in their original packaging.

If the original packaging is damaged but the product is fully functional, a repackaging fee may be applied.

Return Shipping Costs

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer, except in the case of defective products: in such cases, the pickup will be arranged free of charge by Gist Italia.

How to Return a Product

You can choose between two return methods:

1. Return via GLS (partner courier)

Write to service@gistitalia.it indicating:

  • order number
  • product(s) you wish to return

You will receive the link to proceed with the GLS return.
Service cost: €5.

2. Return with a courier of your choice

You may ship with any courier using the address label provided on the returns page.

Warranty Policy

All Switch Components products are covered by a 2-year warranty from the date of purchase, valid exclusively for the original purchaser and non-transferable. A valid proof of purchase is required for any warranty request.

What the Warranty Covers

The warranty applies to manufacturing or material defects detected during normal use of the product. In the event of a confirmed defect, Switch Components will cover the shipping costs for the return and any replacement.

What is Not Covered

  • incorrect installation or assembly not in accordance with the instructions
  • insufficient or lack of maintenance
  • abuse, negligence, or improper use of the product
  • unauthorized modifications, alterations, or repairs
  • corrosion, deterioration, or normal wear and tear of materials

Normal wear of components, understood as the natural life cycle of the product, is not covered by the warranty.

Repaired or Replaced Products

Any item repaired or replaced under warranty will remain covered for the remaining period of the original warranty. If the warranty is close to expiry and repair or replacement is not possible, Switch Components may offer:

  • an alternative product of equal or higher value
  • or a partial refund proportionate to the remaining warranty period

Recommendations for Proper Use

We recommend installing, using, and maintaining the products in strict accordance with the official instructions. In case of doubts or difficulties during installation, it is advisable to contact a qualified technician.

How to Submit a Warranty Claim

To submit a warranty claim, please send an email to service@gistitalia.it including:

  • proof of purchase
  • a detailed description of the issue
  • photos and/or videos showing the defect

Our team will review your request and contact you with further instructions.

Terms and Conditions of Sale

This document governs the terms and conditions of sale for products purchased through the online shop operated by Gist Italia Srl (“Seller”), with registered office at Via Castelmenardo 55, 31100 Treviso (TV), Italy. Use of the website and purchase of products imply full acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.


1. Purpose of the Contract

These conditions regulate the sale of technical clothing, bicycle components and accessories intended for consumers and businesses. The contract is considered finalized when the Customer receives the order confirmation via email.


2. Scope of Sale

The Seller ships products exclusively within the countries of the European Union. For shipments outside Europe, please contact: info@gistitalia.it.


3. Product Availability

Product availability is shown on each product page but cannot be guaranteed in real time. If a product becomes unavailable after the order is placed, the Customer will be notified and may choose between:

  • full refund
  • replacement with an alternative product
  • waiting for restocking

4. Prices and Pricing Errors

All prices are expressed in Euro and include VAT. In the event of an obvious pricing error (upload mistake, unrealistic or inconsistent values), Gist Italia Srl reserves the right to cancel the order and fully refund the Customer.


5. Payment Methods

We accept the following payment methods:

  • Shopify Payments (credit/debit cards)
  • PayPal

Not accepted: bank transfer, cash on delivery, offline payments.


6. Business Invoicing

For invoices issued to companies, please contact: commerciale@gistitalia.it and provide full company details (VAT number, SDI/PEC). Invoices cannot be modified after issuance.


7. Shipping

7.1 Couriers Used

Within Italy: GLS
Within Europe: courier may vary depending on the destination country.

7.2 Processing Times

Orders are prepared within 24 business hours. Delivery takes place within 48–72 business hours after order processing.

7.3 Damaged Packages

The Customer must check the condition of the package upon delivery and, in case of visible damage, sign with reservation and contact us within 48 hours providing photos of the damage.

7.4 Unclaimed Packages

If the Customer does not collect the package and it is returned to sender, the following will be deducted:

  • outbound shipping cost
  • return shipping cost

8. Return Policy (30 Days)

The Customer may return products within 30 days from delivery. Custom-made products are excluded. Returned items must be intact, unused, and in their original packaging.

9. Legal and Commercial Warranty

The warranty applied depends on the brand of the product:

  • Switch Components: 2-year commercial warranty with specific terms available on the dedicated page.
  • Gist Cycling, Skuad, Officine Parolin: standard EU legal warranty.

The warranty does not cover damages caused by improper use, incorrect installation, lack of maintenance, or normal wear.


10. Product Use

Component installation must be performed according to technical instructions. Gist Italia is not responsible for damages resulting from incorrect assembly or improper use.


11. Limitation of Liability

Gist Italia is not responsible for:

  • service interruptions due to maintenance or updates
  • delays caused by couriers or external factors
  • any incompatibilities between components installed by the Customer
  • indirect damages, loss of use, or consequential damages

12. Discount Codes and Promotions

Discount codes cannot be combined with each other or with items already on sale. Promotions are not retroactive.


13. Personal Data Protection

Data processing is carried out in accordance with our Privacy Policy and in compliance with EU GDPR Regulation 2016/679.


14. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by Italian law. Any dispute shall fall under the jurisdiction of the consumer’s court of residence.
